Statute 65-5a11: Cooperation with other state agencies; recommendations to legislature.
The secretary of health and environment shall cooperate with any and all
other departments and boards of the state now or hereafter created,
endeavor to coordinate the efforts of all persons and agencies interested
in prevention, discovery, care and education of the children with special
health care needs of the state, and present proposals to the legislature
from time to time which the secretary believes will improve, if adopted,
the administration of this act and promote the interests of children with
special health care needs to the end that they, as far as possible, be made
self-supporting and independent.
