Statute 65-5507: Examinations.
(a) Each applicant for licensure under this act
shall be
examined by a written examination chosen by the
board to test the
applicant's knowledge of the
basic and clinical sciences relating to respiratory therapy, and
respiratory therapy theory and practice, including the
applicant's
professional skills and judgment in the utilization of respiratory therapy
techniques and methods, and such other subjects as the board may deem
useful to determine the applicant's fitness to practice.
(b) Applicants for licensure shall be examined at
a time and place and
under such supervision as the board may determine. Examinations shall be
given at least twice each year at such places as the
board may determine and the board shall give or cause to be given
reasonable public notice of
such examinations at least 60 days prior to their administration.
(c) Applicants may obtain their examination scores.
