Article 44: Community Mental Health And Mental Retardation Assistance

Statute 65-4414: Minimum grant amounts, certain facilities; proration, when. During each fiscal year commencing after June 30, 1986, each community mental retardation facility which was eligible for grant payments under K.S.A. 65-4413 and which received assistance under the provisions of K.S.A. 65-4401 to 65-4408, inclusive, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1986, shall receive a total amount of grant payments under K.S.A. 65-4413 for such fiscal year in an amount which is not less than the total amount of assistance earned by such community mental retardation facility under the provisions of K.S.A. 65-4401 to 65-4408, inclusive, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1986. In the event that sufficient funds are not appropriated to pay all such community mental retardation facilities, which are applying for grants, the minimum amounts which such facilities are eligible to receive under this section, the secretary shall prorate the entire amount appropriated for grants among those community mental retardation facilities which are applying for grants and which are eligible under this section, in proportion to the amount each such community mental retardation facility received during the base year ending June 30, 1986.
