Statute 65-2422b: Records of divorces and annulments.
For each divorce and annulment of marriage granted by any court in this
state, a report shall be prepared and filed by the clerk of court with the
state registrar of vital statistics. The information necessary to prepare
the report shall be furnished to the clerk of the court by the prevailing
party or the legal representative of the prevailing party
on forms prescribed and furnished by the
state registrar of vital statistics. On or before the
15th day of
each month, the clerk of the court shall forward to the state registrar of
vital statistics the report of each divorce and annulment granted during
the preceding calendar month and such related reports as may be required by
rules and regulations issued under this act. The information provided
shall include the social security numbers of both parties. Information in
the report which will assist the secretary of social and rehabilitation
services in establishing, modifying or enforcing a support obligation shall
be made available to the secretary of social and rehabilitation services
or the secretary's designee.
