Statute 58-2813: Prohibition on conducting abstracting business without full-time
services of licensee.
On and after July 1, 1985, no person, firm, partnership,
association or corporation shall make, compile or complete and sell abstracts
of title to real estate in the state of Kansas unless such person, firm,
partnership, association or corporation is operated or managed on a full-time
basis or employs on a full-time basis an individual licensed under the provisions
of article 28 of chapter 58 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated or acts amendatory
of the provisions thereof or supplemental thereto.
