Statute 48-511: Enlistments; term; oath.
Enlistments in the Kansas state guard shall be for two years, except
that any person who has served a complete enlistment in the armed forces of
the United States, the national guard, or the state guard may enlist for
one year. The oath to be taken upon enlistment in such forces shall be
substantially in the form prescribed for persons enlisted in the national
guard, substituting the words "Kansas state guard" where necessary.
