Statute 47-237: Penalties for unlawful acts.
If any person shall unlawfully take up any stray or fails to comply with
the provisions of this act or uses or works such stray before giving notice
or shall drive the same on any premises for the purpose of unlawfully
taking up the same, or shall keep the same out of the county when taken up
more than five days at one time before sale, he shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not
exceeding one hundred dollars, or by imprisonment for not exceeding thirty
days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
