Statute 47-1704: Pound or animal shelter license.
It shall be
unlawful for
any
person to operate a pound or
animal
shelter, except a licensed veterinarian who operates such pound or animal
shelter from such licensed veterinarian's clinic,
unless a license for such pound or shelter
has been obtained from
the commissioner. Application for such license shall be made on a form
provided by the commissioner. The license period
shall be for the license year ending on June 30 following
the issuance date.
