Statute 47-1217: Penalties for violations; actions.
The willful violation of any of the provisions of this act, or the
willful failure to comply with any of the provisions of this act, or any of
the rules and regulations adopted thereunder, is hereby made a misdemeanor,
and any person upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not
less than twenty-five dollars nor more than five hundred dollars. It shall
be the duty of the attorney general and the various county attorneys, to
file suit in a court of competent jurisdiction to enjoin any violation of
this act or any rule or regulation authorized and adopted under the
provisions of this act.
