Statute 40-105: Powers, duties, authority and jurisdiction conferred on
commissioner of insurance.
All laws relating to the powers, duties, authority and jurisdiction of
the commissioner of insurance of this state not hereby repealed are hereby
adopted and the present superintendent of insurance is declared to be the
commissioner of insurance for the term for which he was elected as such
superintendent. All pending actions brought by or against the
superintendent of insurance may be continued without change in title and
shall be binding upon the parties to the same extent as though substitution
of his new style of office had been made. All insurance companies as
defined in section 40-201 of this code and fraternal benefit societies
which have been heretofore granted charters by the state charter board and
which are now licensed by the superintendent of insurance shall be deemed
legally organized and existing and shall be in no way affected by any
provision of this act concerning the organization of such companies or
fraternal benefit societies.
